7 of the most unhealthy drinks when trying to lose weight

Get these drinks out of your diet

Eliminate these drinks from your diet
You want to lose weight, so you are watching what you eat. It makes sense, but what you drink is just as important. However, it is very difficult to tell if a drink is healthy based on how it looks. It’s easy to tell that a biscuit with a lot of sugar and chocolate doesn’t do much for your diet. But is apple juice healthy or not? And juice? However, the following drinks can be excluded from your diet.

1. 100% apple juice
Apple juice is actually unhealthy in any way. It might look healthy – because it contains apples – but it isn’t. And 100% apple juice is the most harmful of all. Not what you expected. The high content of concentrated sugar and calories in fruit juice can lead to weight gain. Of course, there are vitamins in 100% apple juice, but they are not sufficient to completely counteract the sugar. The amount of sugar can be compared to a can of soda.

2. Orange juice
Orange juice, like apple juice, is usually very unhealthy as well. The beverage is low in fruit juice, and typically ranges from only 5% to 10%. Additionally, there is a lot of high fructose corn syrup (HFCS) in orange juice. HFCs are derived from cornstarch and are cheaper than sugar, which is why many food manufacturers prefer them. It is also sweeter than sugar and the body absorbs it more quickly. As a result, your blood sugar level can drop quickly causing you to want more sugar.

3. Juices
Juice can be very healthy, but most prepackaged juices found at the grocery store are not. This is a huge disappointment for many people. The drink appears to be very healthy. It contains fruits and vegetables, right? True, but it also contains a lot of sugar. One juice can contain as much sugar, and sometimes more than a can of soda. Squeezing fruits and vegetables removes most, if not all, of the fiber. As a result, sugars remain special.

4. Soda
This shouldn’t be a surprise on this list. Soda contains a lot of sugar. We all know that. But did you know that an average can of soda contains about 12 teaspoons of sugar and about 130 calories? This is twice the amount of sugar in a bar of chocolate. If you drink soda daily, there’s a good chance you might catch a little tummy tuck. But this can also lead to increased visceral fat, which is the most dangerous type because it spreads around your organs.

5. Alcoholic beverages
They don’t call it “beer belly” for nothing. Drinking beer every day can lead to weight gain. But this is not the only alcoholic beverage to be avoided when trying to lose weight. Drinking a lot of wine and alcoholic drinks can also lead to weight gain and belly fat. Alcohol also hinders your body’s ability to burn fats. Drinks can also reduce the quality of your sleep and mess with hormones that affect hunger and feelings of fullness.

6. Milkshake
We’re mostly talking about the kind you get at fast food restaurants. Besides “regular” milkshakes, there is also something called milkshakes, which is the formula of preference for milkshakes. With a base of ice cream and decorated with everything unhealthy. Unfortunately, regular milkshakes are not the healthiest. Take, for example, a large McDonald’s chocolate milkshake. You will get over 400 calories and 60 grams of sugar, making it one of the least beneficial drinks for weight loss.

7. Mixed coffee
Coffee can be found in all shapes and forms nowadays. With flavors of caramel or vanilla for example … or the frozen version, iced coffee. Due to all the (sweet) additives, the drinks hardly resemble coffee. The most luxurious item sometimes contains 560 calories, 14 grams of saturated fat, and 80 grams of sugars. Fabulous! If you drink one of these (with whipped cream) every day, you can easily gain a pound in a week. If you still like to drink coffee, black coffee is always the healthiest option.
